A couple of months ago I was looking to download free Nintendo wii games as the pricing of wii games in the shops were ridiculous. I have bought over 20 games and some of them weren’t even worth the money and if you tried to swap them you would get 1/5th of your money back.

I decided to download free Nintendo wii games so I could try them and see if they were worth buying as I had no way to tell apart from a few reviews. I tried quite a few of the free download sites and I must say I was not impressed at all. Either the download didn’t work or it would take 3 weeks to download the game. That is what I get for trying to get something for nothing.

I then decided to try one of the membership sites. The one that I decided on was My Wii Downloads because they seemed to offer the best value for money. They had 3 options either the trial membership at $29.95 which game me 60 days access to the site, the second was the silver membership which was $39.95 and gave me a full years access and I could download unlimited games, and the last was the platinum membership which gave me unlimited lifetime access to download free Nintendo wii games.

I opted for the platinum lifetime membership. As I would be downloading quite a lot of games. This software also came with a homebrew installer which allowed me to do other great things with my wii console, like watch DVD Videos on my wii console and also allowed me to stream tv shows and movies directly from my pc.

If you want to download free Nintendo wii games then I would strongly advise the paid membership site if you want to make sure your PC doesn’t get infested with viruses.

Ok, I live in Australia, I bought my Wii from one of the local electronic/gaming stores. and I’m sick of waiting half the bloody year to get games that are already released elsewhere.

so.. my TV supports both 50/60hz mode. I want to play American(NTSC) games on my Wii. Whether or not that’s possible, (with the help of some other devide), I’m not fully sure.

I want to be able to play these games over Wi-Fi as well, I might add.

I’m currently looking into buying an American Wii – I know the voltage output over here is practically double, so it would probably overheat the thing very quickly.
Anyway..

–Is it possible to play NTSC games on an NTSC console on an australian TV which supports both 50/60hz?
–Will the picture come out black and white?
–Will I be able to play NTSC games in an australian region on Wi-Fi? would they lock me?
–Any other info/heads up you can give.

Only answer if you truly know what you’re talking about, please.
