I just bought the nintendo wii and the batteries are running low on battery stuff. Are the batteries rechargeable?

I know that for the game cube, they are not, but how about the Wii?

I need to buy a nintendo wii console+ good games+ accessories. If someone knows some good deal regarding this. Can you please suggest me some good links to look out for. I need to buy these, this very week. Thanks in advance.
