Is the Nintendo DS basically a portable version of the Nintendo Wii?

Are the games similar?
For instance, if I get Ninja Gaiden for the DS, will it be the Cheap Alli Online Without Prescription same game as the Nintendo Wii, or will it be a totally different game?
